Nothing like a reminder of your mortality to kick you into high gear…

These past 48+ hours my daughter Lily and I have been on an Odyssey that would rival Odysseus. There is no need to go into the details, just suffice it to say that when you are faced with your possible demise and have the time to ponder your limited options, it burns away the trite, the limitations (self-imposed because aren’t they all?), the doubt and insecurities and replaces them with a new understanding of your personal destiny.

Listen up Creator - no one will ever get you fully, but don’t let that stop you expressing your uniqueness in whatever form that takes. It’s time to celebrate and be true to you, your dreams and your desires and once you do and align with your Purpose - there is no doubt that your Tribe will find you.

The photo I have shared is me, so self-satisfied in this moment that it should be illegal. Haha! We were way laid to Seattle and of course I’m making the best of it in the Seattle Athaeum surrounded by books and learning - my happy place, until I can catch a flight home on Friday.
